Under the slogan "Spring Moving China", this year's China Fountain & Waterscape Summit Forum was held in Yangzhou from March 23rd to 26th. Syncronorm is enormously proud to have been part of this unique conference, where leading companies of the Chinese fountain industry, the "Chinese Fountain Association", highlighted the future of the industry in exciting discussion panels and presentations.
As the opening of the Beijing Olympics or the Shanghai World Expo 2010 have shown, breathtaking water shows have become an integral part of the worldwide event industry. The creative minds here agree: fountain shows can contribute massively to creating an immersive, ornate and unique show experience, and complement multimedia shows in a literally splashy way. While many companies have focused on technological advancement and research within the industry, there has long been a lack of coordinated knowledge sharing. This problem is now to be solved with the convening of the China Fountain & Waterscape Summit Forum.
Specialists and international industry leaders have thus come together and more than 350 participants from all sectors of the water show industry and beyond have gathered at the Jiangsu Hengyuan Fountain Co. Ltd. venues for this special event. As the theme of “build, create, share” was held high during this exciting conference, the gathering was built around the latest innovations in the fountain show industry, including both hard- and software progressions, energy-saving related topics, safety measurements and more. The aim was not only to offer a platform for exchange, but also to jointly find improvements from related industrial sectors, which can strengthen and further develop the fountain market in the long term. As a high-end and demanding industry segment the participants agree that the fountain industry has a responsibility to find the latest innovations and implement them to work out the most fruitful and creative future for the market.
With a friendly invite by HJC Fountain, Syncronorm are more than happy to have contributed to the forum, as we have presented the latest version of our multimedia show design and fountain control software Depence, which is already successfully used all over the world in the most diverse musical fountain systems. Depence R3 is the latest major release of this system, which was made available to customers in January 2023 and which comes with improved water simulation, a vast expansion of control related features as well as improved stability and performance for even the largest fountain projects. Forum attendees were able to gain extensive insight into the new features and capabilities of the Depence software, and what benefits it holds for the future of the fountain industry.
