Established in 2002, NPT Company Ltd specializes in water design and fountain engineering, delivering large-scale, technically advanced water features across the region. Since 2022, NPT has been actively using Depence for fountain design, video animation, and control systems.
One of our most ambitious achievements to date is the “Musical Fountain of Sun Urban City – Vietnam”, a landmark project developed for Sun Group Vietnam. With a total length of 1.5 kilometers, this project is officially the longest musical fountain in Vietnam and Southeast Asia (ASEAN).
The project was designed and visualized entirely using Depence, allowing us to present core design ideas through high-quality video animation and to implement a fully integrated control system. Depence was also used for the final control of an extensive range of fountain equipment, including:
- 3,850 underwater LED lights (DMX 512 control)
- 900 submersible pumps ranging from 2.2 kW to 110 kW
- 369 2D moving nozzles (360° rotation)
- 260 1D moving nozzles (180° rotation)
- 165 air nozzles reaching heights of up to 40 meters
- 3 high jets at 80 meters and 4 high jets at 40 meters
- 90 DMX 512-controlled pumps
- Syncronorm U48 hardware and nodes
Inspired by the image of a dragon descending through the land, the fountain stretches across the urban cityscape, creating a continuous visual journey. Visitors can stand on both sides of the water feature and experience the musical fountain performance up close, making it an immersive public attraction and a defining landmark of Sun Urban City.
The project was carried out from October 2024 to March 2025, with a total investment value of approximately USD 6.5 million, reflecting its scale, technical complexity, and artistic ambition.
This project stands as a strong example of how Depence supports not only creative visualization but also precise, large-scale fountain control, enabling NPT Company Ltd to deliver record-breaking musical fountain experiences.
