Syncronorm are very pleased to present the new Depence² laser module together with the “LaserLink” laser fixture, available as from now.

Depence² grants a full set of versatile show-design-elements, which not only features show basics like stage lighting, but furthermore special effects such as flames & fountain elements as well as laser. Syncronorm are now offering a complete set of laser design features in a separate Depence² module as it is becoming more and more popular to combine lasers with a various range of multimedia show elements. The very flexible and easy-to-use LaserLink fixture was being made available in our library for this very reason.

LaserLink itself is a unique product manufactured by Lightline Lasertechnik from Germany, which allows you to control & program lasers as easy as any other DMX based lighting fixture. Functioning as a stand-alone ILDA-media-server, LaserLink allows lighting designers to control laser projectors directly from their console, all in real-time via DMX or ArtNET.

LaserLink is connected very easily via Plug-and-Play feature and was designed to aid professional users within the lighting industry, who will find a familiar working environment for programming and designing, since using LaserLink is comparable to using a moving light. All units will be delivered with a very extensive library of predefined Gobos, color selections and effect macros. Custom designs can be uploaded via the ethernet connector. The unique dual-layer-output-function of LaserLink allows for the output of two layers simultaneously via one laser, whereas each layer can be fitted with an individual design. LaserLink reaches a maximum of precision, as all main features such as zoom, movement or rotation are based on a 16-bit solution.

With the LaserLink fixture implemented in Depence² you may control & visualize your lasers virtually without any hardware at all. Depence² comes with a most powerful engine, which simulates all characteristics of a real laser beam. Characteristics of lasers such as scanner inertia and beam divergency can be applied to make your rendering more realistic.

Depence² simulates the atmospheric effects of lasers as realistic as possible in real-time. It offers separate rendering settings for intensity, dynamic clouds, and fluid-like effects. Furthermore, Hot-Beams are taking care about the laser diode divergency and are getting thicker in distance. To that, graphic designers need to balance between the scan rate and image complexity to avoid flickering while keeping the image correct. Since this can be a challenge, Depence² can simulate this behavior correctly to offer laser graphic designers the most perfect visualization.
